Mod Launcher not working for Darkness Falls mod

WebBeen trying to grow some crops in Darkness Falls (A19.3). I’ve placed a rain catcher in a hole two blocks deep to prevent the water from spreading, and I’ve tried placing seeds both in a farm plot and in dirt that I used a hoe on within 4 blocks of the water block and they don’t grow. A 9x9 field with only one rain catcher worked nice for yucca, but sucks with different kinds of seeds (potato, corn, wheat, tomatoes, pumpkin, ...). Otherwise it treats it like a wild plant that you are picking up. I think I had that happen with one of the wild flowers. Ended up picking up the plant and seed instead of punching it. Pay attention the name also. Wheat (seed) - wheat (growing) - wheat (grown). Punch (I use a knife) to hit it once it shows (grown).
